Welcome, my name is Eric Farman, and the site you are viewing can best be described as my peronal home on the inter-web. Currently, I am a software engineer for a small computer firm named International Business Machines, working with the z/VM Hypervisor for the System z mainframes. I graduated from Susquehanna University in 2002 with a degree in Computer Science, after successfully navigating the Union-Endicott School District.

Everything that you're reading was done with the intent of sharing thoughts and events with my family and friends. There are several blog entries created by my friend Steve Shoe, and if I get the administration tool completely fixed, he may choose to write again. I don't know.

I have maintained some form of an online presence since high school, beginning with a simple Geocities page filled with jokes and links to the stupid things you could find on the Internet back in the late 1990's. At various points, I had information about the Blue Moon Rendering Tools, Winamp skins, and even some simple HTML tutorials. Now, it's largely back to the simple pages of stupid things you find on the Internet in the late 2000's.

This site was all hand-crafted by myself, using UltraEdit-32, Adobe Photoshop, and FileZilla. It's been verified to look not horrible in Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Firefox was used with the ridiculously helpful Firebug plugin to help me sort out the CSS, since I suck at it.

Comments and questions are invited, either publicly via the comment tools, or privately. The comment tool allows private messages to be sent directly, but otherwise I can be reached at web [at] ef280z [dot] com.
